Bridges of Hope Statement on COVID-19
A message to our community on Bridges of Hope services in light of COVID-19:
Common Goods Stores in Baxter and Crosslake: Both Common Goods stores will be closed to comply with Governor Walz's Stay At Home order. The stores will remain closed until the Governor deems it fit to return to business as usual. We will return to normal hours at that time. No donations are being accepted. Our online store remains open, however, no orders will be processed until after the Stay At Home order is lifted. Please continue visiting our webpages and social media for more information and updates.
Operation Sandwich: Operation Sandwich will go down to one day per week - Thursdays - at the Soup Kitchen. Pick up time is from 5:30 p.m to 6:00 p.m. There are two kinds of food bags available-one for families who can cook and have a refrigerator and the other for the families who don’t. Families should ask for the bag that meets their requirements.
They are also requesting non-perishable food items.
Bridges of Hope: Bridges of Hope main offices will be closed in order to comply with Governor Walz's Stay At Home order. As we continue to work diligently to serve the community, our goal is to ensure that we play our part in (a) reducing transmission in the community, (b) protecting people who are at higher risk for adverse health complications, and (c) aligning business operations in line with required law. If you need assistance, please visit our website or call 218-297-4223. If this is an emergency, please call 911. Our re-opening date will be determined by state guidelines.
