2024 THANKSGIVING BASKET PROGRAM
This year marks 16 years of Bridges of Hope connecting families in need with Thanksgiving Basket Sponsors in the Brainerd Lakes Area! In 2023, through our collaborative efforts, we got Thanksgiving Meal supplies to 209 local families. In total, we have worked together to get 3,107 meals on tables in this community!
If your agency would like to refer families that you are working with next year, please call our office.
How to SPONSOR a basket
Meal sponsors are paired with one or more families (it is up to you!) and then purchase and deliver the ingredients for their Thanksgiving meal. In past years we have had sponsors that are single adults, families, businesses, service clubs, church groups, and more! How to RECEIVE a basket
We all know that holidays can be expensive.. The Thanksgiving Basket Program connects families with children aged 0-17 that could use some help with the cost of a traditional Thanksgiving meal, with a sponsor that wants to donate the ingredients for the meal. You do need to be referred by an agency that your family is working with. This could be someone at your child's school, a social worker, mental health provider, or minister. If you have questions, call Bridges of Hope at 218-825-7682! The deadline has not yet been set for the 2024 program.
