Receptionist/Administrative Assistant 25-40 hours per week, dependent on candidate
Hourly/Non-exempt position
Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to support the program, financial, administrative, and fund development operations of the organization through administrative/clerical duties.
Specific Responsibilities and Expectations
Receptionist
· Answer RingCentral multi-line telephone system, route calls, and take messages
· Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and friendly manner
· Handle caller, donor, and client inquiries and provide accurate information
· Work cooperatively and communicate effectively with team members at each of our five locations
· Monitor the “info@” email and route to the appropriate staff members
Office Administration Tasks
· Perform general administrative tasks such as mailing, filing, copying, and data entry
· Maintain general office documents
· Retrieve and distribute mail
· Maintain and order office supply inventory as needed
· Attend to and perform light office cleaning duties
· Run general errands
· Assist team members with projects and tasks as directed
Finance Assistant Tasks
· Open bills and prepare bill spreadsheets
· Prepare donor deposit logs and use desk scanner to deposit checks
· Enter Common Goods bank deposits into QuickBooks Online
· Enter Common Goods daily sales into QuickBooks Online
· Assist Finance, HR and Operations Director with other bookkeeping tasks as directed
Position Requirements:
· Previous experience in a reception or administrative role preferred
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, previous customer service experience preferred
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
· Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred
· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
· Professional business appearance and demeanor
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Benefits for this position would be prorated based on number of hours worked per week. Employees that work 30 or more hours a week would be eligible for a cafeteria stipend.

Retail Associate

Available during Common Goods business hours: Monday–Saturday, 9 AM–6 PM.

Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs.

Retail and Point of Sale experience is preferred, but we’re happy to train the right candidate!
Compensation:

Pay starts at $13.25 per hour, based on experience.
