Building Bridges, Building Community

60K in 60 Days Kick-Off Event a Success
On Friday, November 1, about fifty brave souls gathered at the Franklin Arts Center parking lot for lunch at Prairie Bay’s Side Dish food truck. It was the kick-off event for Bridges of Hope’s fall fundraising campaign: “60K in 60 Days,” and Prairie Bay generously donated a full 25% of their sales to us during the event! Run for Hope – A Success!
What a fun day! Last Saturday, we partnered with the Journey North Community Church (TJN) to host the first-ever Run for Hope. It was a huge success! More than 140 people registered to walk or run and many others came to cheer us on. I was one of those 140 registered “runners.” Flashback with me a few months ago. There was snow on the ground. First Bridge Section Complete
Thanks to the quick work of the good folks at Nor-Son, the first section of our bridge is already complete! On Wednesday, November 9, Bridges of Hope’s Fall Campaign reached its first $10,000 mark. After a quick phone call to Nor-Son, the bridge base was built and delivered to Common Goods on Thursday!
