BRIDGES OF HOPE
You help us build bridges of support for stronger families and communities.
Bridges of Hope serves individuals and families in Crow Wing County and the surrounding communities. We focus on assisting households in crisis–whatever the crisis may be. Our staff specializes in connecting those in crisis with local resources by drawing on both traditional human services and non-traditional supports. We are the safety net between communities and county resources. We work to have an expert knowledge of ALL of our area resources and how to easily access them.

Summer is Here!
Did you know that more than 3,300 kids in the Brainerd Lakes Area rely on their school’s free and reduced-price meal programs for breakfast and lunch? For some kids, when the school year ends, so does the school lunch program, leaving them hungry and unsure of where their next meal will come from.
Bridges of Hope, through Operation Sandwich, provides much needed meals weekly to students facing summer hunger. With help from our partners, grocery bags are available for pick-up at various times and locations on Thursdays, with each bag containing enough food for a full week. Now that summer is here again, we hope to raise $25,000 to meet the needs of kids and their families in 2021.
