Crisis Nursery Services:
providing short-term crisis childcare for children
0-12 in Crow Wing County and the surrounding areas.
In 2011, we assisted in arranging and providing
165 households (541 people) with short-term childcare
during a family crisis.
Family Support Services: longer-term supportive services by working with
families to set goals and to connect families to
community-based supports, and empowering them to
access supports in the future. This program served
129 households (471 people) in 2011.
Financial Resources Program: a
single point of entry in the community for those
experiencing a financial crisis, connecting them to
viable community resources, to help improve family
stability. In 2011 we assisted 2,070
households (5,382 people) through this program.
Mental Health Program:
arranging mental health services for those needing
an immediate assessment or who face a hardship
paying standard health care professional rates.
In 2011 we arranged mental health services and/or
counseling for 39 households (110 people).
