Experiencing a financial crisis? Not sure
what to do
next?
Bridges of Hope serves children and families in Crow
Wing County and the surrounding communities. Our focus
is on assisting families in crisis--whatever the crisis
may be--and our staff specializes in connecting families
with local resources by drawing on both traditional
human services and non-traditional supports. We
work to have an expert knowledge of ALL of our
area resources and how to access them.

 The
Financial Resources Program is a
single point of entry in the community for those
experiencing a financial crisis, connecting them to
viable community resources, to help improve family
stability. In 2010, we assisted 1,687
households (4,492 people) through this program.
Bridges of Hope Staff have the
expertise to point you to the right resources
for virtually any type of financial crisis; including
housing & utilities, transportation, food & basic needs,
health & medical, children's needs, employment &
education, and more.
We do not have specific
income or asset limits;
instead, our expertise is in knowing the specific
guidelines of all of our local resources and in
assisting you in accessing them in the proper order,
with the proper documentation, paperwork or
requirements.
When all of the local resources have been tried but you
still need financial assistance, our staff can assess
your situation to see if it's eligible for our internal
funds, but only after all of the existing resources have
been exhausted. (Of the 1,687 households we assisted
through this program last year, just 150 were assisted
in this way.) In general, our internal funding is
limited to our mission to serve children and their
caregivers, but we can assist ANYONE with finding and
accessing resources! |
